LIFE specialises in the search and placement of candidates for positions with our clients in the luxury and premium fashion sector.

We are committed to protecting your personal information and to being transparent about the data we hold on you and how we use it.

LIFE collects Personal Data about you to help in the recruitment process.  This Data consists of:

Information you give us, typically via your CV, such as your name, address, e-mail address, work and education history, eligibility to work.

Information via social media and job boards, this is information that is publicly available and only pertains to your professional career, such as job updates, typically via LinkedIn but may be via other social media sites. It may also be information that you have uploaded onto job boards to which we subscribe.

Why do we process this personal data?

We process this Personal Data as necessary to aid the recruitment process. 

We collect and process personal data only as necessary and ensure we conform with legal requirements.

Your candidate data is processed and stored for the purposes of:

a)     Conducting searches for potential candidates on behalf of our clients who have briefed us on a vacancy.

b)     Assessing your suitability for these roles.

c)     Informing you by email or telephone of available opportunities that may be relevant and of interest to you.

d)     Introducing you to a client as a potential employee.

 We do not disclose your information to a client, or any other third party, without your prior knowledge and without obtaining your consent.

Giving your consent

Should your professional profile be relevant to the types of vacancies that we manage then we may wish to retain your data to advise you of suitable roles. Before we store your details, you must give us your written consent. We also require your consent to update your data with professional details you post on social media or on job boards.

You may also give your consent by applying to our advertising which states that by doing so your data will be stored in line with this privacy policy.

How we store your information

We respect your right to privacy and recognise the importance of protecting your data. Once we have received your data, and your consent, we use strict procedures to ensure it is securely transferred to and stored on a secure, protected GDPR-compliant cloud based database. By submitting your personal data and consent you agree to this transfer.

How long do we keep your data?

We keep your information for a maximum of two years from the date of your last contact with us. At that time, we will contact you to request your consent to update your data and store it for a further two years or delete it.
